Step 1 : Reception (SPADA)
If you wish to apply for asylum, you must first obtain an appointment at a first reception facility for asylum seekers (SPADA). The SPADA is an association that will help you schedule an appointment at the one-stop counter (GUDA) or at a Pôle territorial France Asile, depending on your department of residence.
In Île-de-France region
You must contact the French Office for Immigration and Integration (OFII) at 01 42 500 900 to obtain an appointment at a SPADA in the Île-de-France region.
Outside Île-de-France region
You must go directly to the SPADA in your department of residence. The list of SPADA centers is available on the OFII website.
The Appointment at the SPADA
The SPADA will help you fill out an asylum application registration form and will give you a summons for an appointment with the One-stop counter or or at a Pôle territorial France Asile. This appointment will take place within 3 days (10 days in case of high demand).
